Battery box mock fit up.

In the process of building my own set for our MK2.
Making the boxes from 1.6mm thick aluminium 5052 sheet sitting on a frame made from 30 x 3 wall Square Hollow Section.

Started relocating the battery to the rear.
Cut the hole through the floor and made a cardboard template of a battery box.
It will house the 100AH Lithium battery, battery shunt, Midi fuses and the low voltage battery isolator.
It will be made from 1.2mm thick Zincanneal and will be fully welded.
It will have a flange along the top edge and will adhesive/sealant glued and pop riveted into position.

We have bought a portable hot water system which I will run the bigger pump from and leave the kitchen pump as is.
I will have o rewrite both pumps as they have being tied into the Merit plug circuit.

Has anyone had experience in the set up of the water pumps in a Tvan.
Ours has a small Shurflow water pump located under the sink, the water tank has a tee piece on the outlet, one end supplies water to the kitchen pump.
The sink spout has a valve on the end of it, the kitchen pump looks like a pressure sensing one.
The power comes off the Merit plug circuit and has a switch located at the front of the sink to turn it on and off.
Now the other side of the tee piece runs to a another larger pressure sensing water pump located to the rear of the van, it also runs off the Merit circuit and a switch located near the fill point but also has a brown/blue wire that runs under the van to the ICC.
There is also a manual hand pump.
My question is where does the larger pump pipe work run to and does the hand pump connect to it?

Off topic slightly but can you send me a photo of the rear water pump set up
I'm a bit confused regarding where the rear pumps water to, the tank outlet has a tee one end goes to the kitchen pump and the other end to a pump at the rear near the hand pump but I don't know where the discharge pipe goes to.
Same as the pump wiring, does it run off the Merit plug circuits?

Looking at a very similar upgrade for our recently purchased 2005 MK2.
Currently building some front boxes and have being undecided where to installed the battery, either in the original position (still have to fab a box) or relocate to rear.
I have already purchased the BMS1230, breaker/power outlets and switch panel.
Looks like I may have to look at the battery relocation as well to keep all the components close together.
Do you have a sketch of your panel that you could part with?

We have just purchased a 2005 MK2 Tvan after hiring campertrailers for the past three years of holidaying and currently going through the process of giving it a freshen up.
We hired previously to see what was out there prior to buying, we hired a Tvan last year to go to Cape Leveque and loved it, did Landor races with a hard floor campertrailers which confirmed Tvans are the way to go.
First up was a good scrub outside, I gave underneath a clean with a product called Red Dirt blaster (pretty aggressive but gets it looking near new).
We got it at a good price so decided to spend the money saved on the initial purchase on updating and replacing worn components.
We have purchased and installed an extended drawbar.
Replaced the faulty water pump, note it did not previously have a inlet filter, $15 is cheap insurance.
Sandblasted and painted the suspension arms with POR15 paint, New bushes and fasteners (old bushes etc will be kept as spares).
As the Tvan has standard 130mm axles I have gone for 17" x 8" 0 offsett CSA rims with Prado size tires (actually installed new tires on the Prado and the tires removed onto the trailer).
The van didn't come with a battery or 240VAC input only a PWM solar panel regulator and 12 volt Aderson plug to the tow vehicle.
We have purchased a BMS1230 and looking at a LiFePO4 battery.
A new mattress is a givin.
Have bought a new fan and Rare earth magnets for mounting it through out the van.
We have a 150 series Prado for a tow vehicle.
One thing to look for is the age of tires, check the DOT number on the tire wall, the last four digits represent the week and year of manufacture, note the life of a tire is six to ten years.
Any van older than 2012 may need the tires replaced especially if you travel remote.
Reseal of underside with bitumen paint.
Brake, bearings and wheel alignment.
80 watt roof mounted solar panel to be purchased and fitted.
A front box is on the wish list in the future.
Going to give the exterior a polish soon.
The tent has hardly being used and is in excellent condition.
