Towing / Re: What do you tow your van with?

Wow what great cars... and vans! I tow a 2009 TVan Murranji Mk 2 with a 2006, 100 series with the old faithful HZ motor (with a built in hill detector - it sees a hill and starts to slow!) and it doesn't like overtaking, unless I have a lot of space. I'm saving for an aftermarket turbo.

Towing / Re: Replacing AT35 Tow Hitch
March 17, 2013, 11:47:52 PM
Hi, to all you hitch changers. Last week, I was on the Vehicle Components website (the suppliers of the DO35) and noted on their specials section, that they are clearing the old DO35 (version 1) hitches (the ones without the cap etc) for $200 plus postage, which according to them was saving $176. It might be worth a thought. I suppose it's still going. Just go to vehicle components.com.au (sorry I'm not sure how to insert a link).

I'm interested in those fancy rare earth magnets to hold the fans on. Where did you get them? Are they expensive? Is that the best way to attach them (do they hold on). I'm also going to Whitworths to buy a decent fan.
Thanks

For Sale or Wanted / Re: Tvan Manual

Hi, I may be able to help. When I bought my TVan second hand (2009 Murranji), I asked to get a manual which I received electronically (I hope that I'm not breaking coyright) and then printed it. It's dated 9/11/2009  If that is close enough to what you are chasing (I know it is a different model and year) send me your email address and I'll forward you a copy (I'm not very good at computers so just be patient).
