G'Day Qldtvan,
Our tug is an 2012 Landrover Defender 2.2.
Recently completed over 15,000 kms.
Wilsons Prom to Cape York, Gulf, Centre, Oodnadatta Track, Flinders Ranges and back home to the Prom.
Fuel used (all towing),
On the black stuff at highway speeds 10.5/100.
Dirt roads with tires fully inflated and at highway speeds 11.5 - 12/100
Off Road, tires at about half pressure, speeds 70 to 80 kms/hr 14.5/100
Very happy campers.
Both the tug and the trailer (2008 series 2 Canning, with mods) came through with no damage.
Now looking at the maps for the next run?
