I have a mk3 murranji and i discovered i don't have power to my 240v outlets and fridge plug in the front box. The 240v leads that connect to the control box have lights. If i plug an external power cable to the tvan and charge it, everything works.

I changed both fuses in the battery box as both were blown.

Any ideas?

Right beside the Power box will be a 240V lead thet's not plugged in, on the inside of the trailer.
Because the 240 Volt sockets in the Kitchen are NOT hard wired.
They are like a power board that's been fitted into the trailer.
I have never come across a tvan fridge box with 240 Volt sockets.
In the Fridge box, 12 Volt yes but not 240V.
If you have them, they may have been installed by a previous owner.
And get plugged into the socket inside the kitchen locker door.  Which is on a lead from the power box, where it gets plugged in.

As for the Solar, your in need of explaining a bit more.
Battery should be located under the carpet in the floor, in its own box.
Have you charged up the battery lately?
There should be circuit breakers in with the Battery, and a fuse which may be blown as you've stated.

I just discovered the 240v outlets turn on only when connected to external 240v source.

But my batteries in the tvan are dead. 3.5v. Tested with multimeter.

My solar panel is not charging the batteries.

Where should I start troubleshooting?

I'd start by charging the batteries from the mains - does it come with a charger? Once the battery has some charge (if it hasn't been killed) the solar charger might start working.

It's not hard to flatten the battery if you leave the main switch on for a while (100mA draw) or something like a fridge running.

Haven't got a charger. So i a looking to buy a 10A to 15A adapter to charge through the mains while not in use.

I did charge the batteries however while i was staying in Alice Springs for 2 days.

I dont think the solar worked. The panel is the one from track so i think its 50w.

I only use an engel and lights in the tvan.

If i were to replace the batteries in the tvan, what should I use? Its got lead acid in there now.
