Adding pictures to posts
« on: May 26, 2014, 10:57:41 PM »
There are a number of ways to add pictures to posts:

1) have them hosted on your own website or photo sharing site, like Photobucket, etc., or any of the active ones listed here http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_photo-sharing_websites. Then post a link to it as part of the post using the code provided by the host site, or use the icons at the top of the reply to insert images (hover the mouse over the icons and it will tell you what they are).

2) Post them as an attachment to the post, by using the Attachments and other options at the bottom of the box where you are writing, and attached the image file you want to include. This will put it at the bottom of the post.

3) Select the Gallery link near he top of the screen and put your images in there, and then using the link provided paste it in with your post, best to have a separate window open so you can have both open at the same time. When doing this use the "direct link" information from the "Image Linking Codes" under the picture and use the icons at the top of the reply to insert images (hover the mouse over the icons and it will tell you what they are).
