new topaz

After 18 month's we pick up our new topaz savarna in 2 weeks pick up in Melbourne.
Only options we are getting are slide out kitchen,  tv dvd, extra fan, couple of extras cant remember but its been good reading all the info on on this forum and helped us choose what we wanted.

Thanks fantum I have not seen the topaz yet only photos so I hope those speekers are remove able ore thay aren't going to stay there long pick it up onthe 2nd of October then slow drive back to WA.

Looks great and congratulations - we are hanging out for ours (Dec 21). Are you heading back via the bitumen or taking a few dirt road detours?

Thanks Nicho not to sure on the way home never been over to Melbourne before we will spend a couple of days in vic (i dont like big cities to much of a country boy) then some time in SA and have a good look around from there I dont now.

Finally picked up the topaz from Melbourne 1 big thanks to Lloyd and David from tt and Alfred from George day caravans both been excellent to deal with now for the drive home.

Finally home now after 5000 kms had 2 small dust leaks fixed with sikaflex and the 240 volt plug for the power pointes at the back of the 240 isolater popping out parts on the way to fix. all up happy with the van.

In the process of making a bed up for the little one removed the back part of the couch and made up a new board now just need to make up a bed base.

After reading mounting maxtraxx on the tvans got me looking at how to mount a set of recovery trax on the topaz still wanting to keep the wood box free I made up a frame to sit the recovery trax on .

Finally got around at mounting a led strip light above the kitchen will give me better light now hopefully. Hopefully pic up me new fridge next couple of weeks as the old one decided to stop working for the 4th time tt have been very helpful at getting it sorted out for me.

Finally got to take the topaz out over easter down the Holland track was a good 4 days seeing what the topaz can handle.

And how did it go Dicko?  We are yet to put ours through its paces, but we have done nearly 4000 KM.  Heading up to  Kingaroy next week for a couple of days and then down to Dubbo for a week which should put another 2000 KM on the clock.
