Dicko you know that the BBQ can be used as an oven
Buy the wire grill and the BBQ is a stove oven and BBQ

http://www.sovereignbbqs.com/bbqaccessories.html
Bravo Oven Wire

This converts the Bushman into a stove and oven
grill down for stove
Turn the gas down to low and invert the grill for roasting
Note the grill is designed to be down for oven but is to hot
we have cooked roast bread and cakes on the BBQ
Use the stove grill for the kettle and cooking
use the bbq plate for bbq's and as an fry pan as it has deep sides
cook the pork chops and stir fry on the bbq plate
easy to clean and makes an awesome outdoor kitchen

Thaanks for the info Auscgu.I've got the slide out kitchen fitted to the topaz . Great idea you have but would be nice tobe aable to cook bread and a roast while on the road. I got a travel buddy pie oven I'll give a go at cooking a small roast in that apparently you can don't know until I give it a go.

Dicko thanks for the pics looks easy enough might have to ask for the brackets and retro fit. Note your mirror is on the inside of the door

Another way to use the BBQ as an oven is to retain the hotplate, and create four small balls from scrunched up alfoil, and place these as feet under a foil tray (Woolies sell a pack that fit well) - this keeps the tray from receiving direct heat, and works well (and thanks to Craig who passed this tip on at handover back in 2011!).

Dicko,
With the mirror on the inside of the door, how do you hold the door open to use the mirror?

Frank just  noted that Dicko's van had the mirror on the inside of the wardrobe
Must have been ordered like that
Not sure it would be any harder to use but different
