G'day crew
I'm web wheeling the idea of an engle fridge into the back of an eagle?
I have seen a 32 fit easily onto the rare factory rolling shelf/draw and slide fine
I wonder if a 40 would fit?
Does someone know the height of the rear opening when open of course:)
The figure can be with or without draws or slides because I intend to make my own anyway
I own a 40 litre so can measure that tonight
There seems to be a few eagles for sale at the moment, which suits me as I intend to purchase in the next six months.
Any help much appreciated
Thanks
David

Not sure whether you got your answer but the 40 ltr Engel is too tall to fit. A 60 ltr is shorter and should work but the lid wasn't hinged correctly and it wasn't interchangeable. Mine is fitted with the slide out drawer and from memory I think your limited to 450 mm in height, give or take a bit. I ended up using an Aussie made Explorer fridge (DC-56). It fits, has the lid hinged correctly for where I wanted to put it and has a separate freezer compartment.

For a better slide out drawer design, look at what Track have done with the one fitted to the Mate.

Hi David,
I saw the reply that a 60L engel might fit.
I have one & fridge slide for sale for $1,100. I can measure the height for you if you like.
