Hi
I am presently installing an air con similar to the factory install.
It is a Saphir comfort reverse cycle. I looked at the air command underbench but i think it would be a bit noisier so if have chosen the Truma.
I have made a slide arrangement to prevent dust and water entering when travelling.
3 mm HDPE sheet is what i have used as the slide.

The holes are cut to match the a/c holes in 2 of the sheets and the other is offset so it matches the holes when slid out and seals them when in.I have measured and the only place for the unit to line up with the trailer frame is in the centre. I would have prefered too the side but it will not work.

Underneath, dont look to much at my woodworking skills. It just fits between the floor framework

I have then sealed the bottom HDPE to the floor around the holes and screwed it all to the floor.
You will also see the strips i put on the side to guide the middle moving sheet

Slide in and sealed around the sides

The air con fits nicely but i did have to take the high bits off the insulation

I have sealed the holes in the floor with bitumen paint and then screwed mesh over them

There is a bracket on 3 sides of the unit at the top to hold it in place and then i have screwed in angle top and bottom on both sides to hold the walls around the air con.The floor carpet is cut and back in place.

Making the front to hold remote control receiver , supply grilles and return air grille. It has to be easily removed to clean the filter.
