Hi Guys
I contacted Track yesterday re service centre in Sydney . The closest one is in Gosford which for me is unsatisfactory.
I received a reply quickly from Paul Evans  . It basically said that the company I mentioned RVGO (Terrey Hills) was fine to do the service . The only caveat was that the warranty would be fine as long as the service was performed correctly.
They also attached the alignment procedure, seems a bit complicated .
Hope this is helpful to you fellow Sydneysiders

That is good to know.

We have used Alan Graham's at Gosford for our servicing, and although they are no longer an official dealer they are familiar with the TVAN.

Cheers, Baz

I use Clarke Automotive in Hornsby, they are my regular mechanic, and have experience in a large range of vehicles, including Tvans. They have done suspension swaps and full alignments on Tvans before as well.

Thanks, Aidan that was very useful, as I need to get a blue-slip for my new Firetail and they are not too far from us, I've contacted them and they will do Monday morning for us!

Baz,

No problem. You will also need a blue slip which can be got at Berowra, at Hefro's wood shed, but best to ring a day or two ahead to make a booking so they are there.

This may seem like a silly question but what part of the suspension required servicing?
Is there a regime which should be followed?
Thanks

I have always been perplexd at the desire for people to have their vans serviced at all, let alone insisting that it is with Track, even if they have to travel several thousand km to do so.
It is a beutiful but simple van.  What is there that any mechanic or agent cannot do?
Or anybody handy with a set of spanners to make sure everything that should be tighted is tightened?
The most complicated thing is wheel bearings, and any mechanic or even tyre shop can do that.
Ok if you have bent an axle that is a different story, but the matters that generally need attending need to be seen in context.

I have had the Tvan done a few times at Bold Trailers in Taren Point. They have replaced broken wires to indicators, machined my brakes and put new longer kitchen slides in, as well as routine stuff like wheel bearings.
I have an original series Tvan so I expect to need to do a little more than the newer ones. But still getting me out there.
