Sounds like a plug for daylight savings.?  Because we live on the far west of the country we have a sort of natural daylight savings,  so we are neutral on that debate.
You are a bit more up to date.  We have a 2009 Prado with 2006 T Van Tanami.

We're looking at staying in May at Steep Point (Shelter Bay) and apparently there is only one spot left... so get in early!

Hello anyone going to the Dirk Hartog Tvan Special

Talking to Kieran he advises that they do sell diesel fuel on the island
but it has to be preordered.

We are seeking to get 100 litres of diesel to make sure we can see all
of the island.

If anyone else wants diesel please let me know by email, to the address
below, and it can be preordered.

Must be a good few coming - we have a mob or gaggle of 3 tvans from Adelaide.

As mentioned earlier. Fuel is available on DH island if prebooked. Kieran requires about 3 weeks notice for ordering fuel.
I am looking at ordering 50 litres as we will have 2 x 20L jerrys on the Tvan.

Looking forward to catching up with people from other states

I know that prices fluctuate daily, but does Kieran have an indication of what his current pricing is?

I have asked for a price but no answer as yet.
Will post it as soon as he lets me know.

If an order is not fully taken he is not fussed.
He just wants to make sure he has enough for all our needs.

We are upping our requirements to 100 Lt. Saves us carrying the extra weight in from the Overland Roadhouse.

We will probably be camping at Cararang station the night before we catch the ferry. What are others doing?

We're camping at Shelter Bay, which is where the barge pickup happens (well.. the pickup is Blackie's Beach actually..)
