I don't think I'm quite as handy on the tools as you ::) Probably wouldn't be much of a comparo. Do you have any shots of where you mounted the LEDs and what sort of LEDs you used?

I have Bricki, but have been flat out finishing off the build so we can get out and about. Will post some pics and info for you soon.

FINALLY GOT IT FINISHED... Well, nearly  :P I still want to laser cut and adhere some stainless sheets to the bench tops, but more on that later.

The lovely Bride and I got a chance to hook the new beast up and head out for a short shake down drive today. We only went out to settle the suspension and see how it all tows, and it's great.

I managed to get the new suspension tracking to exact manufacturers specs and filled up both water tanks for ballast.
We've still got around 150kgs of crap to go on board but I will head out tomorrow and get a weight on it. That will be interesting..

Greg.

One pic at a time unfortunately.

Looks like a Job well done  ;). I am so dopy, I was drilling out the pop rivets on my number plate and went straight through to the water tank :o. Stupid thing was, I was thinking the day before that I would need to be careful not to drill into the tank and then when I finally had time I was rushing the job and just pushed too hard on the drill ::). The next 3 rivets I put some timber there, just one rivet too late.

Your trailer is looking absolutely superb btw. ;D

I took the camper over a weigh bridge yesterday and was surprised to see 990kg with full water tanks.
I was expecting around the 800kg mark but it is what it is.
We will add around 150kg of gear, bedding, and food, etc, so at least we are staying under the 1200kg mark.

Hi Greg

What sort of catch did you use to hold the shovel handle please?
I assume the black metal holder at the pointy end was made by you ?

Cheers and great work.

Hi Peter - Yep, made the spade end and used one 'quick fist' clamp on the handle.

G'day Greg,

What a top build mate, it's just awesome to see such a polished end product that's been customised to your own personal needs. I've really enjoyed watching the progress!

Now get out there and some have fun, hope to see you on the tracks some day :)
