We don't drink from the Tvan tanks. We travel with a 10L cask for drinking or fill the jerry from a local tap if it's classed as drinking quality but we boil it first.

Our Tvan tank is for washing up mainly. Maybe cooking if it's boiled.

Thanks Chris for the info.
We have a mkIV set up the same way. I still use a jerry can with potable only. If you introduce non potable to the system doesn't it put the system at risk even with running the sink tap. The bugs are in the sink tap system?

We only use the sink tap water for filling the kettle for a cup of tea or coffee so water is always boiled before drinking.
