Moving up to Topaz
« on: December 12, 2017, 07:05:51 PM »
Hi Everyone. We have just had our 2012 Series 11 out for it's first run in the wild and weren't disappointed at all. We tried the Bonang Hwy from Orbost to Delegate and then down to home. The van towed great in the mountains and we even took it up to Erinudra Platueu and found some great camp sites. After using a camper trailer the Topaz felt compact and towed "small" behind the DMax on the windy roads. A great start, we are happy campers.
Previously we have had a Campomatic camper which was great but we had seen the different hybrids evolve and were attracted to the option of a hard top to get out of weather if need be and still enjoy the ability to cook outside. Also the ease of towing and manouverability with a camper only a little larger than the Campomatic.

Your setup looks great, congratulations and we hope you continue to enjoy your Topaz. For now we have a Tvan which we love, but maybe one day...
