Has anyone had experience in the set up of the water pumps in a Tvan.
Ours has a small Shurflow water pump located under the sink, the water tank has a tee piece on the outlet, one end supplies water to the kitchen pump.
The sink spout has a valve on the end of it, the kitchen pump looks like a pressure sensing one.
The power comes off the Merit plug circuit and has a switch located at the front of the sink to turn it on and off.
Now the other side of the tee piece runs to a another larger pressure sensing water pump located to the rear of the van, it also runs off the Merit circuit and a switch located near the fill point but also has a brown/blue wire that runs under the van to the ICC.
There is also a manual hand pump.
My question is where does the larger pump pipe work run to and does the hand pump connect to it?

Be an add-on from previous owner in my experience.
I own a June, 2009, build.
A Canning which does not have that pump in the rear space under the water tank fill point.
Be interested to know where the pipework runs to/from the bigger pump.
If the pipework runs to the back and ends in a click fitting for a hose, then your probably looking at a water pick-up.
Would probably be a good idea to have a water filter handy if your going to use it.
You can get a John Guest filter kit that fits a 12.5mm. hose fitting in each end to plug onto a water hose.

Good Luck with it.

Thanks, Apparently both pumps are a add on.
We have bought a portable hot water system which I will run the bigger pump from and leave the kitchen pump as is.
I will have o rewrite both pumps as they have being tied into the Merit plug circuit.

The pump, in beside the Kitchen, will be the original.
If you can see in under the bed to the wall, there's 4 T nuts embedded.
They hold the pump.
The Merit socket was added to the pump wiring by Track, so people could run a light at the Kitchen.
All of that wiring is run around inside under the metal covers at the bed plywood base level.
It comes from along the drivers side wall.  Across the front and along the Pass. side wall, to the hole in the ply behind the merit plug.
Then gets distributed through the kitchen.
Or on mine it does.
