Temporary table storage
« on: November 24, 2018, 09:38:38 AM »
Hi All,

I am thinking of using industrial Velcro to temporarily store the Topaz 2 table on the roof. We found that during a few bad weather days and a dog, the table can be in the way.

Keen to hear from members about alternatives?

Doesn't the table fit inside under the bed out of the way?

The table was missing from our Topaz so I had to make a new one. I felt the standard Topaz table was to big. Not wanting it to get in the way we made ours 400mm x 600mm.

At only 400mm wide it stores away to the side without impacting the bed at all (although ours is a N/S bed with storage on the side). It can also fold away over the seat without blocking any floor space.  The only time we store it over the seat is when making or stripping the bed.

Not sure I could be bothered ever removing the table.
Still big enough for two to have dinner at the seats.
Furiously working on our bucket list before time and money runs out.

Took the table on our first trip and it has been in the shed ever since. Too big and heavy. We have a tray each that slides into the end of the bed
