Smev 2000 series 2 burner stover - suspect thermocouple issue
« on: February 13, 2019, 10:28:55 AM »
Hello,

We have a issue with our smev 2000 series stove with the thermocouple after not using the tvan for 15 months. Track have been more than helpful to work on a solution. The issue is track don’t stick parts for this stove. Track can supply a different brand that’s required mods to kitchen. Looking for a quick fix/replacement part atm.

Has anyone had to buy parts or know where from? The importer cameac gave me the runaround.

Cheers

If it’s like my Domestic, try giving the protruding bits a light polish with 1500 wet and dry.

Mine worked better after that.

It’s similar, the section that’s in the flame I assume? I had a look tonight and it does look black and crusty where it sits on the burner.

Yes just the section that protrudes, no need to remove it.

Mine only required a light sand to clean it up.
