1000 Nights
« on: July 24, 2019, 09:26:10 PM »
Excuse me  for having a little brag here but last night we clocked up a 1000 nights in the T-van, we brought the T-van in Nov. '08 and kept a book on where we spent each night. The book has been a great reference for when and where we have been also to keep a track of servicing.
We have met and talked to many of you out there, enjoyed your company and hope to meet many of you again, thanks for all the tips, ideas and conversation.
The favorite towns were Alice Springs, Cairns and Maxine liked Broome, the favorite tracks were probably Hanns track, Sandy Blight Junction road and the Kiwirrkurra to Balgo road amongst others.
Hope to have many more nights in the mighty T-van and see you out there.

Cheers
Graham and Maxine

Hi Graham,
We also keep a list.
We bought our second hand Tvan in July 2011 and lived in it for 335 days until we bought our Topaz 2 Savannah in January 2015.
Since then we have spent 614 days living in our Topaz
That's a total of 949 days in combined Tvan and Topaz, and if you add to that the CUB camper we had for 2 years prior to the Tvan, we're up to 1132 days.

Loving the camping life!

Well done Graham and Maxine great to have met up with you at various stops among your 1000 nights, and gained some great tips fromm your experience (even if we defected to AOR along the way!).
Lookk forward to welcoming you to Tassie in the not too distant future.
All the best,

Hi Harry and Bev,
Like to compare notes one day out there, I'm sure you would have been to some exciting places we haven't been yet, if we both keep travelling we should cross paths at some stage Cheers.

Thanks Adrian & Helen,
Tassie is looking more and more likely should have the details worked out by the time we get home from this trip, currently in Alice and about to head North East. All the best in your travels.

Thanks Jeff & Trish,
Crossed paths with you Jeff in the Simpson in 2011 which seems like a long time ago, we weren't towing then but were with the other 15 T-vans (those nights didn't count to the 1000) Cheers and safe travels.

Howezit Graham and Debbie,
Yes it was good to meet you at Dirk Hartog, should do it again someday.

Trust you are still travelling and enjoying this big brown (at least some of the places are turning green) land.

Cheers
Maxine and Graham
