Smoke Alarm
« on: July 30, 2019, 11:33:05 AM »
The 2016 Tvan I recently acquired isn't fitted with a smoke alarm. Are they fitted as standard out of the factory, and if so, where are they mounted?

Thanks

Cam

Mine was mounted on drivers side just inside the hatch up next to the spot for the hi fi speaker. Its a round standard home type firealarm with the square 9 volt battery in it.

Our 2010 Tvan had a smoke alarm as they are required by law. Not sure how your 2016 missed out. They are fitted drivers side up high above the powerbox
Cheers

Soooo, just got home after a week away and thought I would have a look. Guess what I found on the driver's side above the control panel ...... Never noticed it before.

If the control panel starts beeping, check the fire alarm to find the culprit.
