hi all, I have a 2012 model topaz. in the area were the water pumps are situated ,there's a purge valve with a yellow handle. just wondering what it is for .also what replacement pumps do people use.

Hi Chris,

To release hot water service pressure. Also manual fluid drain.

I'd use the same pump again. However there are 4 chamber/quad Flow pumps that are very quiet that will work, however you need to look a psi ratings.

My 2018 Savannah has hot and cold pumps at 45psi, but there is a pressure reducer that takes it down to 23-25psi.

                thanks for the reply , as for the pumps I think the older shruflo are discontinued and replaced with the 4009. but I could be wrong,
