G'day forum members,

Following on from ChrisN's introduction post I have a bit of a challenge for you.  I'm asking you to identify and briefly describe where the following location is.  Sorry no Latitude, Longitude will be accepted, just a rough description of where it is.
The location is a real place, I have been there and it is really Out of this world, sensational, breathtaking, words do not do it justice.  This location is NOT A 5 BED COTTAGE AT HYAMS BEACH IN NSW.   It's called WHALESONG.

Go for it.

I am feeling really confident about this, 17 views and nobody has identified the place.  It just goes to show how defenceless, how utterly useless we become when our electronic gadgets can't guide us to our destination.  Oh what have we become.  I'll give you a hint, a tvan will get you there.

Keep trying

Am I misssing something. I was expecting a photo and then we had to guess where the location is.
If the only hint is Whalesong, it's a bit tough although using our friend Google, an answer wouldn't be that difficult.

Forum members, I owe you all an unreserved apology, according to my better half Whalesong is not a location.  I have argued the point strenuously but lost as usual.  SWMBO says the signs we followed were to a restaurant/cafe where there is a campground but that is not the name of the location.  Please allow me the opportunity to consult the map so that I mislead you no further.  I shall return.

Once again SWMBO is correct, Whalesong is most likely the local name for the campground and cafe.  I have consulted HEMA who says the location is Embalgun which is easily googled so everyone will now know the location.  Thanks for your interest and if you are ever up that way make sure you follow the signs to Whalesong, it is well worth the drive through the bush to get there.  Rumour has it that an English backpacker visited the place for a day, went home and sold her possessions and returned to live there.  Who knows?
Cheers

Geez Jeff, all that hard work building tons of credibility with the forum and you shoot it all down in one post.

Please ensure similar future posts have management approval ( SWMBO) in writing.
