Tvan Mk3 Second Battery wiring path

G'day all, have had a go at wiring our mk3 up for a second battery, and am not sure of the best path to run the large cables from side to side.  For now, I have simply run the cable up and over the floor of the van inside.  Not ideal.  But seems the only other options are; to drill holes in the rear crossbar in the chassis to run the cable through it, aft of the water tank assembly (right at the rear of the van); or to run almost double the length of cable and run it forward down inside the chassis to where the next existing holes are and cross in front of the water tank.

What have others done/found/had installed by Tvan?
Thanks so much for this! Photos would be ideal,

In my Mark 4 Firetail - which has twin batteries fitted by the factory - the wiring from the 2nd battery (on the passenger side) goes through a hole cut in the rear facing side of the battery box, near the top (just under the floor of the van) and the wires go straight into the rear cross-bar via another hole, to appear on the drivers side via an exit hole, and so into the main battery box via a hole near the top at the rear of that box. Each battery box hole is bogged up with some black rubbery filler, and the wires just run directly from one side to the other - basically via the shortest path.

Thanks Rob! I will have to take the stone guard off the water tank again and have another look, I must have missed the exit hole on the drivers side somehow I'm thinking!
thanks again for replying!

The rear cross-bar is the one at the very back of the Tvan floor - it literally forms the rear floor lip where you get in... In my case, this is a galvanised square beam with holes exactly in line with the rear of both battery boxes.
