Hi, I'm new to the mighty Topaz and this forum. I need some help please.
All has been going great with my 2010 Topaz Murranji, which I've only owned for a couple of months. This morning, I put it on 240v charge, using the Projecta charger in the cupboard. Was working fine for a few hours until it set off an alarm and a red blinking light with 'error' displayed. No power to anything at all now, except the fridge. Batteries are fairly new, as is the Projecta. Everything looks in really good condition. Circuit breaker tests ok. Is there something I'm missing or any suggestions what may have blown? Are there any other fuses apart from the 30A and 50A next to the 2 batteries? There is also a Redarc 3 stage charger on the left side of the batteries which is blinking red - what is that charger for? Sorry for all the questions, but any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
Cheers,
Grant

Are you sure it's not a blown circuit breaker ? Your symptoms are exactly what I had in my 2017 Tvan and the Redarc was blinking in that too. I had a blown circuit breaker causing a loss of all power to the van but the batteries were also on the way out so I'm not sure if they caused the problem.

Thanks Gumb. Excuse my total ignorance re circuit breakers - in my Topaz there is a single test switch and button (which works fine when plugged in to 240v), then there's a 2 pole circuit breaker next to the test switch which doesn't alter any power options whether on or off. It also doesn't flick off when the test switch is tested and switches off - is it supposed to?
Thanks, Grant

Not sure I can help there mate, I'm no expert either and the Tvan sounds like it's wired differently from youur post.

Hi Grant,

My Topaz 2 has two "circuit breakers" side by side.  The smaller one is the main 240V power switch that trips with using too much power, and the longer one turns the 240V hot water system on.
