Wiring in the water pump box

Just opened up the box to remove the electric water pump. I have never used it in 10 years and have removed the sink and replaced it with a bench. My question is can anyone tell me what the wiring is in there. I plan to convert the space into storage. I assume that I will need to leave it there.

I think the grey wire in the photo is the water tank gauge. From memory (it's been a while) the power to the merit socket comes up from there. I think there is also the wiring for the stereo as it sat "above" the pump area.

Have removed the pump and tucked the wires into the corner.
Now to decide what to put in there.
