Though I've been using the TVan minimally I bought new batteries for it a while back and when I've connected the Tvan to mains power I've sometimes had the isolator switch in the off position, and sometimes on. I realised today I'm not sure if the Tvan puts a change into the batteries when the isolator swicth is off. Looking at the victron control i geta  reading of 13.x when the isolator switch is off, and when it's on it jumos to 14.x

I haven't the foggiest when it comes to wiring and I have memory issue so while I have known this information before I have lost accesss to it. I'd be greatful if somebody can clue me in.

Having red other posts I realise some peiple might want me to clarify what I mean by isolatior. I mean the up/down flip style switch (fuse) like you'd get in a domestic fuse board. I've included an image of my Mk 3's panel.

Ben I have a Mk3 and can confirm that the blue isolator switch shown in the diagram is a 240v circuit breaker. When it is down ( off ) no power will get to the battery charger and the van is not charging. When it is up ( on) the charger will run and the batterys will be getting charged at something like 13.8 - 14v.

You should also notice the fan running and a beep from the charger.

From what you describe it is working properly.

Thanks very much for clarifying that for me, it's what I suspected, but with you havign one and being able to clarify as an owner it gives me more confidence that it's right, so thanks again.
