Well as some of you may know, I've had a Mk111 Tvan for over 11 years  - still have it for the real hard core trips. But as time does, the bride and I started to look for a few more creature comforts. Spent over 12 months researching the many different options in the market place for something that wasn't to big, yet not to small that could meet our requirements.
AirCon, hot water, heater, internal & external toilet and shower, pop top (not to high - under 2.6m), not to wide max 1950mm, Excellent outside kitchen, class leading suspension, ruggeredness, good ground clearance and departure angles, lithium batteries, smart charging units, plenty of solar, both internal and external fridges, lots of water, lowish ball weight under 200Kg when loaded, excellent off road warranty.
Short lists of options where: AOR, Bruder, Zone RV, Track Master, Bushtracker.
Obviously after much soul searching and much research we decided on the new Track Trailer T4. Why? Well it ticked pretty much every box we wanted to achieve and after the outstanding performance of the Tvan and the exceptional service from Track over those 11 years, the final decision come rather easily. So, we have only been camping twice so far in the new T4, we are definitely still bedding everything in and getting used to the massive amount of room and space to store stuff. But very first impressions would be from both of us - WOW. Tows extremely well behind the 79, very comfortable- still getting used to not crawling out of bed like in the Tvan. Love the amenities inside for the bride, finally no more pee bucket. Love the wind up legs on the rear of the T4, so easy to level and set up. I could go on for ages, but a few pics might say a thousand words. I'll had more as we use it more. Cheers

Inspected some of the plumbing, wiring and the battery location today. Real happy with the Invicta batteries. Everything appears to be well mounted and secured properly. Plenty of heat shrink in all the right places. Like the addition of cable tray in place to secure the plumbing etc.

Spent the first couple of weekends, lying under the new rig securing and covering any exposed water pipes etc. I know from having the Tvan for 11 years that rocks do take a toll eventually on everything. Bought additional nuts and placed them on the front of the suspension arms to protect the threads, lock tighten them in lace, then placed some radiator hose over the nuts to protect them. Covered all wiring, gas and water pipes with an additional layer of black flex corrugated conduit.

Then installed the stone stomper to the van and the hitch on the 79. I put double skinned heat shrink on all the exposed bungee cords under the mat for better protection from rocks.

Hey PD,  how come some of these photos are really magnified and lack clarity?  Is it my system?
Formerly 2002 TVAN, now a 2015 Topaz Savannah and 2014 Isuzu MU-X LST. Now towing with a 2019 Toyota LC200 GXL.

Hi Harry, we are in a poor service area. I'm choosing small pixilation when posting

Removed the spare wheel as I have two on the cruiser. Had a 3mm Aliminium box made up to stop water getting up into the chain winch receiver. Will silicone when I get home and paint.
