Mk 5 Maxtrax deck clearance

I have a question regarding fitting Maxtrax carrier pins to a Mk 5 deck.

In that if I was to fit 4 board length pins instead of 2 board length pins, will this cause a ground clearance issues when the deck is lowered?

In our experience, yes.If camped on a slope that goes upwards towards the back of the Tvan, we sometimes have to dig 4 small holes.We have pins that hold 4 Maxtrax and measure 95mm from mounting plate to tip of bolt. They are a PITA.I was not aware of the shorter pins until I read your post. May have to source some and change them over.

Having four Maxtrax on there also makes the deck quite heavy to lift.
