The Hueys

All walls trimmed in the same colour does look better in my opinion and we went with matching grey pattern for the curtains. However we went with a burgundy carpet instead of black or grey for a little contrast, I think is gives a more plush feel over black carpet.

One thing I've been thinking about with your plan to paint the front wall white. The silver colour that is standard goes some way to hide the stone chips as any damage just shows the silver gal from underneath. Stone chips on MkIII's are much more obvious due to the contrasting colours, so if you go the white painted front path think about increasing the height of your stone shields for a bit more protection.

I cant even spell monaro it seems but that white thing sorta looks to have the roofline of a HT.

No holdons or nissins for me, just Toyotas, Tvan and Fords (and VW and Masseys and Caterpiller and Inter's and Yamahas and Honda :-[)

white thing is a BF Cobra

Craig i did think about that , so i decided to keep it the original color.   even if the paint stone chips, the Powdercoat underneath will be the same color so shouldn't stand out.

Walls are riveted on , front repaired & painted , jerry can/spare wheel holder re-fitted.   slowly getting there

Darren,

Thanks for the updates. The rebuild is looking great. I really like the pantry. You are going to find it very handy. Not to mention you now have a shelf inside...

It's a pity Track didn't continue with the idea. I have converted my side pannier / jerry holder into a pantry after my wife kept complaining. It works a treat.

Keep up the awesome work. I'm loving the pics.

Looking very good Darren.  Where did you get your wall fabric?

Hi there Lego,
I am interested to see some pics of how you converted your side jerry holder into a pantry.
