Hi Merilyn , A few years back travelled Tom Groggin to Benambra . Davies plain track - McCarthys track - Limestone creek track - limestone road _ Benambra Limestone road .
Towed the Tvan with petrol 4.5 landcruiser no worries except for one small section of Mc Carthys track which was very dry and dusty and a bit slippery on a few steep sections ( we travelled just after school holidays hence the dust build up) .

Whilst not cheap they greatly improve cross ventilation and make for a better nights sleep in warmer climates , had a minor issue with the magnets on the fly screen but easily fixed . Would I elect to buy them again  YES .

It would be cheaper and easier to just put a 50mm block of wood under the wheel to get the extra height , no cutting , welding re galvanizing . Just throw the block in a locker when traveling and it can be used for leveling the van and for jacking .

Must be the day for hand pumps , just doing a few checks today and found the hand pump to be U/S ,pulled the side cover off undid the two hose clamps pulled the hoses off undid the 4screws on top of hand pump removed unit pulled apart replaced diaphragm and gasket re-assembled unit and tested , all up done in an hour max , unit was 3 yrs old and was used more often than the electric unit . Now must order a new spare gasket and diaphragm , in case this one doesn't go the distance .

At Christmas travelled from Benambra along Limestone road to Snowy River road and then north to Suggan Buggan then along Barry Way to Jindabyne towing a Tvan with no problems . Take it easy and enjoy the scenic views.

Hi all hope everyone had a great Christmas and that santa was generous . Ive made aalast minute decision to head up to the snowys Talbingo area and was looking for info on a few good pet friendly areas to camp and fish. It seems like every one from Sydney and surrounds are down the coast in the Jervis Bay area and its driving me nuts Ive got to escape . HELP PLEASE .
