Hi All
Firstly, thanks to all who take part in this forum, it's great.
After a lot of searching I have purchased my second Track Trailer (our first Eagle was sold about 10 year ago.)
Last Friday my son and I picked up an Oasis (never seen one advertised before) from a gentleman by the name of John and his partner Sheryle (very very nice people). It's in as-new condition, I'm very lucky to have found it.
I have a few plans that I will share as time goes on, at the moment the thought is to change from the current Discovery rims to Prado rims, as far as I can tell this should be fairly simple (maybe).
My first question to you guys is, does anyone know if the hitch (Wesco) can still be purchased anywhere. I have spoken to the manufacturer and they don't make the hitch anymore. There is nothing wrong with the one on the trailer, what I want to do is use the trailer on 2 cars and I was hoping to get a second part for the other car (hilux).

Regards for now.

Congrats on the new toy.

Unfortunately the Wescos are long gone. You could try getting something made up as the head is basically a trailer bearing in a hub with a couple of tabs attached. You can buy plain steel tube and bearings for making swing out wheel carriers and the like which could be used for the basis of a head although it may be cheaper to get a new coupling of some other type with a spare head for the other car.

Thanks Craig, yep, I looked at the DO35 hitch, they are over $400. I'll  keep my eyes open and see what else is around.
Maybe the Wesco will pop on ebay sometime.

It looks like its hardly been used.  :)

Perhaps put a wanted advert in the classifieds here and see if a member has one they want to part with.

Have a look at these Keith.

They are easy to use and improved design over the AT35.
They make an adaptor to fit the AT35 and are easier to hitch up and unhitch.
You might find they can help you as well.
