I did get told once that this is Dulux APO Grey, which is a really common colour, it's used as the fascia on most of our Fire Panels.

G'day Heifer Boy,
I'm going to do some hairline crazing in my mark II gel coat roof. How did your colors match up?
Cheers
Jim

Hairline crazing is quite a complicated repair, you really need to vee out each crack with a Dremel before filling with matching gel coat.

Hi Robert,

The colour is APO grey,  Scylla is what they call the finish.

I read with interest the comments on gel coat colours, the main body & the hatch on my MkII are 2 very different colours. Maybe Track had them made by 2 different companies, as they did the sheet metal body work, or maybe mine was built right on the colour change period & got one of each!

I need to touch up the rear deck on our Firetail - the wood we carried for the fires has rubbed on it and taken off the coating. I also need s small bit for the orange bar but that looks like it might be the Bunnings orange mentioned earlier. Anyone know the deck colour code ?

Just received an update from Paul for the Firetails, the colours are in the Dulux powder coat range as follows:

Rear Bar is Flame Red
white walls etc is Interpon Excel surfmist
Dark colour is Sable or Vivica Bass (renamed but same colour)

I bought a small spray can of Surfmist from Bunnings for $6 and did a bit of touch up on the wood rack. It came out perfectly so that's a good option if you need to do anything similar. It's a stock item, no need to get it made up.

Anyone know the colour details for the black paint on the stone barrier at the front of a MK 2 tvan?

Craig (the Huey's) said in an earlier post that the stone shield colour was black satin

Its not even close to the MKII wood rack, totally different colour. Taking 2 cans of Surfmist back today.

Does anyone know the name of the black color in the stone guard of the 2010 tvan canning?

Oscar1964

Does anyone know what the name of the silver paint is that we can use to touch up the draw bar of a tvan. 2010 canning model. Thanks

hulbyw

2010 Canning had a galvanised drawbar. You can buy cold gal rattle cans in silver colour quite easily, even at Bunnings. Galmet or similar.
For the front stone guards, I have no idea of the paint code however I have used various cans of black including underseal. As they are stoneguards, whatever you put on will come off anyway once you hit the gravel. There are a lot of posts on here about fitting rubber, magnetic sheeting etc to preserve the stone guards if that is the way you want to go.
If you wanted a paint code, you could phone Track Trailer but in reality, the original paint will have likely faded so it is usually easier to repaint the guards completely. Cheers.........Wayne
