2006 Mk II Mattress size

Hi everyone,
Its time to get a new mattress, has anyone done so and what did you get?
Can you share your measurements please.
We don't have an extension.

So - you have less room than later models? We have a 2017 Firetail which fits a queen size mattress perfectly.

I've never owned a Mk2 but I believe the bed is shorter and you can add an extension in to make it normal length.

Problem solved, picked up a queen size mattress from Ikea, extra length is great and have no need for an extension.
