Hi We are newbies and have  just purchased 2005 Canning M 2. Has anyone had trouble with the latches on kitchen hatch ., or any ideas how to improve them. They are very hard to open and need to be press, bumped and pulled all at the same time. Far to tricky for Cookie ! Thanks in advance.

Can you be a bit more specific as to what you are experiencing.

They should just turn to latch. Do they turn freely when door is open?

I will later have a look at mine to get a better understanding of the operation.

Have you tried some lubricant?

Ray

on our mark II we do need to press the buttons firmly, lifting the door a little also helps. Lubricating the latch inside the door sounds like a good idea, maybe a white lithium car door lube.
