Locking mechanism for D035 towing hitch

I had a similar problem with mine, which arrived in the mail today. At first, the keys (both of them) were hard to get in the lock as well as hard to get out. Called Australian Lock Company to check on the correct lubricant. Puffed in some graphite and then everything worked just fine after multiple key movements. It would be handy to have some instructions as I had not realised that the lock mechanism goes on the bottom of the hitch with the pin through from the top. This was explained to me by the Vehicle Components people. FYI. Cheers, Boyce

Same for us - it goes in the reverse to what we thought as well.....
