Batwing awning on Firetail

Hi, Has anyone retrofitted the new batwing awning available on Mark 5 to the Firetail?
Also, can you also attach the awning and walls?

From what I've heard and seen online both here and on the Tvan Facebook page, Track are apparently in the process of having that awning, or something along those lines, retrofitted to the Mk 4. I think a cost of about $2,500 has been mentioned but nothing is firm as far as I know.

They were asking for expressions of interest last year and were going ahead if there was enough demand, so I'd suggest a call to them direct.

The alternative is the after market 4WD type awning which measures 3m along the length of the Tvan with a support pole in the front box. Mine comes out 2.5m so it gives a bit more coverage than the Track version. Total cost of that was just over $500.

Also are people happy with the TVan quick awning retrofit?

It's an excellent alternative to the far more expensive Track awning and provides more coverage.

I installed a Supapeg awning (2.5m x 2.5m) onto the side of the Tvan:
